About ICPC
The International Collegiate Programming Contest (ICPC) is the premier global programming competition conducted by and for the world's universities. The ICPC challenges students to solve complex, real-world problems using advanced computing methods under a grueling five-hour deadline.

South Pacific ICPC (SPAR)
The South Pacific Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) International Collegiate Programming Contest (SPAR) is a regional contest of the ICPC. It brings together teams from universities across Australia, New Zealand, and the South Pacific region.
Key Information
- Prelimary and regional final are held annually, SPAR online contest rounds are held across semesters
- Teams of three students compete
- Top teams advance to the ICPC World Finals
- Challenges students in algorithmic problem-solving
